Meet the Resurrection Army Team
IN SHORT
WE ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS
Who we are is very much depicted in the name that He has given us: Resurrection Army. Our mission is to raise up an army of laid down sons and daughters for our God, manifesting His Kingdom on the earth through preaching the Gospel and discipling the nations.
Our Mission Statement:
Awakening the Bride to the nations,
to awaken the nations to the Bridegroom.
We have a heart to see the Bride of Christ awakened so that she will reach the nations, and to then see the nations reconciled to their Heavenly Father through the Blood and work of Jesus Christ.
We want to spend our lives on Him. We want to see Him magnified and glorified over all the earth. If you remember my name but have not moved closer to God, I have failed.
Can we reach a level of maturity where those who are in service of the King, are stripped of everything that does not look like Him.
We need to raise a generation that will be able to STAND in the coming days. How will we disciple them to do this if we don’t overcome while it is still day? We need to put on Christ so that our children will know how to do it and that our greatest victories will become their foundation.
In our mission, an active, intimate relationship with God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit who dwells in us is far more important than fixed structures or systems. We are not aiming to be professional, we are aiming to know Him intimately.
OUR STORY
Launch till present
In 2012 God spoke audibly to JeanLouis and gave the name “Resurrection Army”. JeanLouis knew that God was saying to him: Resurrection Army is a ministry and are you willing to do it? He responded with a definite “YES” and enrolled in this Army. In 2015 God instructed JeanLouis and Sonja to launch the ministry and In February the following year Resurrection Army was launched.
We launched Resurrection Army not knowing how God wanted to shape or use the ministry. Our young naïve hearts ran into the unknown. So far it has been a journey of the most amazing miracles, struggles and occasionally persecution. Christ is worthy of it all. May the Lamb receive the reward of His suffering.
We are growing into who God called us to be. The people we were when we started are not the same people you will meet today. And we wouldn’t change one thing in this journey. We are trusting God to use us and all who are on this journey with us mightily in His Kingdom. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is LORD! He TRULY is LORD!
OUR TESTIMONY
A personal message
From JeanLouis:
God saved my soul and gave me life in 1999 but it was only nine years later that I laid down my life after an encounter with Jesus. Little did I know that He had called me into a multifaceted apostolic ministry. I am blessed beyond measure for the following reasons: I am called, I know my purpose, and He has anointed me to fulfill my assignment. This I say with humility in Jesus Christ, because He enables me.
From Sonja:
I am overcome by His supernatural divine love for us every time I see someone get set free and hearts healed. No man can do this for anyone else. But God can! I stand in awe and wonder of the intricacies He built into us, to protect us until we find the Healer. There isn’t a single thing the Master Builder has not considered before He started building. I am blessed because I have seen a glimpse of His love for us.
